Volleyball is the most gender equal sport in the world and is an Olympic sport in both disciplines. This program aims to develop players and allow them to play in Regional, State and National Competitions. We also endevour to assist students to be talent identified via avenues such as the Queensland Academy of Sport and Volleyball Queensland.

Stretton State College has competed in the state competition for the last seven years winning the State Tournament in 2014 and winning multiple medals along the way.  In 2016 our Year 11 Girls team travelled to Melbourne to compete in the Australian Volleyball Schools Cup winning a silver medal in Division 3 and backed it up the following year in Division 1 with a top 4 finish.

This year the Volleyball program will again travel to Melbourne to compete in the Australian Volleyball Schools Cup which is the largest organised school sport event in the southern hemisphere.
